There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Hope the quality makes up for the wait, @brotherbear .

I believe that, in being the same size considering height and length, the polar bear would outweigh the African Agriotherium because of the fat needed to survive in the polar bear's environment and lifestyle.

Russian wild boar:
Height = 95 cm
Length = 160 cm

Amur tiger:
Height = 95 cm
Length = 195 cm
Some adult males in Ussuriland and Manchuria have been recorded to weigh 300–350 kg (660–770 lb) and measure 125 cm (49 in) in shoulder height. Adults of this size are generally immune from wolf predation. - wild boar.

I wish that I had the computer skills that some of you here have. But, this is not a topic that is so simple that a caveman can do it. I would love to see ( I may have mentioned this before; not sure ) a picture comparison of the big bovines which would include the bison, yak, Asiatic water buffalo, gaur, African buffalo and perhaps a few others.

@brotherbear

I totally agree with you it would be great to see a picture comparison of big bovines and a picture comparison of them compared with all Rhinoceros species too.

Unfortunately, science is not one of my advantages, so i did it with pure-love of our cats couple years ago, just like a digital art, not science source.
The cats' info came from en.wikipedia.org, pics cut out from google search, sorfware photoshop cs5.

Here the .psd files for you guys (free for use if you want):

Legend vs legend. Munna & Maulana.
Got two really similarly angled (& pretty famous shots) of the two veterans. Matched their canines & inscissors assuming them to be closely sized.

This kind of blatant speculation is better suited in this thread though...
