There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I did have that inkling, yes. My usual modus is to have a morning self drive and an afternoon self drive with the drives forming a loop. I have just this afternoon done the H1-4 up to the S90 then S41, then S100 back to Satara. What I have taken to doing this time is as well as that kind of loop I drive to the H6, go about 4km then back, then back up to the S100, 4km then back, to H7, 4km in then back and then about 5km north of Satara or I do it the other way around starting north first. Thing is, I hear roaring every night and then can't find them in the morning, lol.
But ja, I've done all of the roads around Satara and not picked them up. Thing is, one can't be everywhere at once and it seems when I've started one circuit they've been on the other end and missing by the time I've come past. Bush is also ultra thick after a really good rainy season so easy to miss if they're lying down. But, here till Friday so still hoping to see them.
