There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

That has to be terribly painful, but given he is in the Mara, they'll likely give him some antibiotics, to curb infection. Do we know what other males may be in that area, who he might have tangled with?

So I have long suspected foul play with Saningo popping up totally tailess in MNC.  Now Kini pops up in similar area, MNC and Lemek area without his whole tail. Not half Tail like  so many lions we see that have gotten injured and lost half a tail. Its like it was sliced off with surgical precision. No reports of vet intervention. Just very, very suspicious.  That all im saying. Most of Lemek is closed off by Rangers just like Maji Ya Fisi area. Also, there have been documented poaching in Lemek back in 2020. Pilipili and ex famous pride male Rafiki were both poached in 2020, fully documented.

If it was other males which is possible, could be any of them. Many young males out there now ready to make a name for themselves "so to speak". Maybe 2 young River Pride boys sons of MNC Boys. They've been with Offbeat for a few months now. Could be 4 Enkoyunai Boys? Could be the 2 Oloisikut young males, also sons of MNC Boys. So many other young males.
