Do we know the reason why other lions such as Half Tail, Saningo, and Sekoti from Botswana lost their tails or at least part of them?

Can’t answer for the others, but Sekoti was born with a tail like that, and there was another male born in Marsh Pride 6 years before Sekoti, who was also born with a snipped tail. Prolly hereditary.
