There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Very cool sighting, but it looks like a couple of the boys have some war wounds on their back

"Topi-Gang on the move
On their way from the Musiara Marsh to Bila Shaka Lugga.
In front Ukingo, just behind Moja Moja, then Nzuri & Kiongozi, lagging behind is Otipo."

"One very early morning it still being dark we bumped into the Topi Boys on a kill just a few hundred meters from the Car-Park of Little Governors. The Males had killed a sub adult Hippo during the night and we could hear the commotion the distress calls of the poor Hippo.
All 7 Males were present and lots of Hyenas had gathered to seek opportunities to take their share of the kill. There were 2 different Hyena Clans competing and they chased each other back and forth the entire morning. That itself was very interesting to observe. "

From visual observations this would be my take on the fathers of the Topi boys. Not suggesting this is fact or any way of proving it but just find it interesting to debate and compare opinions.

Ukingo - Osapuk
Otipo - Olepolos
Moja Moja - Olepolos
Kiongozi - Orkitok
Vuli - Osapuk
Nzuri - Olepolos
Djodjo - Osapuk
