There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Great skua vs Grate black backed gull: these birds are The two most dominant birds on the open sea, and therfore will have fierce competition between them.
my own personal experience with these two birds are that The gull is dominat on land and sea, but in flight The skua has The upperhand. The skua is such an amazing bird in flight, and with a bad temper it's no laughing matter, I've heard storries from falconares telling storries about when hunting with both read tail hawks, gyrfalcons and goshawks in arias where the skua was, the skua would catch up with the raptors bring The down and beat them up so badly that The birds refused to hunt in that aria again.

Some fighting pictures between The two spicies.
