I hope that a new solid coalition settle with Nkuhuma pride once and for all to see those cubs thrive.
A new coalition would kill all cubs though
A new coalition would most likely kill cubs BUT the nkuhumas have mated with S Avoca/Torchwood, Kambula boys, Mantimahl brothers and possibly the Nzingas.
I’m hoping if the males come back around then they think they are the fathers. Hopefully the lionesses are successful! Cubs always have a hard road ahead so good luck to them and mom.
Neverthless, there's a reason male coalitions need to take over a pride and dominate them for a spell before protecting future cubs. Not one of these males will believe 100% that he sired those cubs precisely because the NK Pride has no official coalition that's yet to take over them. She can mate with 10 different males, and none will have the confidence to protect and die for those cubs without being STABLE pride males with absolute certainty of paternity. I'll be VERY surprised if those cubs make it. They will be lucky, honestly. Maybe that's why only one female is pregnant out of them all. Most of them have little confidence in these random matings of different coalitions coming in and out of their territory. Any idea on which lioness is expecting a litter?
Pale Eyes I believe
So, the mother of the sub-adult son, plus niece to Junior. Seems her only surviving offspring is the young male, so far, and he's not out of the woods yet. Since she's getting older, her chances are fewer than the younger group, so maybe she's maximizing her chances to produce offspring while she's somewhat young and healthy, but the timing is not good. Let's see if any of the males accept these cubs.... If not, she's gonna have a hell of a time trying to protect them, maybe at the cost of her own well-being, if they even make it to a year.

I, too, believe her cubs most likely won’t survive, but just hope her life isn’t taken in the process. I don’t think Mantimhales or KM + S.Avoca have mated with enough females to the point we can guarantee cubs won’t be killed, infact I’m sure of it. Then PCMs went North the past week and Ndzengas plus NK + Khanya occasionally go through there, it’d be a miracle if Nkuhuma Pride were to blossom without Kambulas becoming dominant, pride males.

Believe it was Deon Wessels that shared a short clip the other day showing him mock mating with one of the lionesses. Hope he has some luck finding a partner once his time with the pride comes to an end.

Hi I think, because there is no male lions that stay he stays. Maybe they might they do not want him around if they have cubs. I am not sure, but Mibiri lions there is a young male lion almost four years old.
I may be wrong, but it looks like Kambula males are not around and Mantimahle males could be takiing over this territory.
Let's see how the story goes with this ambiguous paternity... possible fathers of the cubs: Kambulas? Mantimahles? SBDM? PCM? young Nkuhuma male that still stays with the pride?

Hi it might be from different male lions? Kambulas then Kruger male then Mantimahle. Black damn male lion was with them? Mantimahle are strong male lions I think.
Kambula males were sighted at Umkumbe recently.
Umkumbe is south of Londolozi and north of Sabi Sabi. Obviously they could go back into the north at anytime but they'll most likely have to deal with the Mantimahle Sons if they want to claim it.

I think that from what we have seen so far it is very likely that the Kambulas will return to the north with the Nkuhuma, but that does not mean that they will be able to claim it or even try to, we have seen this story repeat itself many times in the last year.
When was that time when they seemed like they were going to claim the Nkuhumas as all the males were together and mating? i don't recall the dates but correct me if im wrong im thinking that maybe soon some Nkuhuma lionesses should have cubs, right?
