Wide Nose has probably some descendants, maybe the Southern girls are his daughters and ironically they're being "raised" and protected by the ones who crippled him, despite them being too young to be accepted back in the day.

And then we have Styx subs and maybe he also sired some cubs in the Kambula pride.

He was a great lion, I hope his potential line makes it.

I've noticed he always has somewhat of a bum hip and a slight limp to his gate. He must have gotten trampled by whatever gored him and slightly injured his hip/leg. But yes, I've noticed that long ago. I guess we can just see it more in this video as his got a full belly.

Are these the same cubs that were saved from floody dens??
Hopefully this set of cubs would make through.
Previous set were killed by leopard.

Not sure, but I really hope so. Since they are new and tiny that their mother would stay and look after them at all times and with some support from other females. She wouldn't leave them unattended when she became aware of flooding.
