Yes i know, based of what coalitions do and where they are seen these days, they are already doing this for few months now, they already abandoned their former territory in Lion Sands many months ago and are now doing with Sabi Sabi (except around Selati Camp in the north) aswell in the past 2-3 months.
Or are Ndhzengas some "new generation" of lion coalition that behaves in completly different manner then every other coalition, ever? I dont think so.
Just open Sabi Sabi social network pages and count how many times where Ndhzengas seen at Sabi Sabi since the beggining of April?
Answer is 2 times, first one was 3 males patroling around mid April and injured Wide-Nose with Kambulas. Then in mid May, 3 males with Kambulas and Wide-Nose contact calling for his brothers, that was also far north around Selati Camp, rangers also then said that they didn't see them for long time.
Since beggining of April, they where seen 0 times with Styx or Southern Prides.
Ndhzengas are not seen regulary in Sabi Sabi anymore, once their core territory.
Meanwhile, they are seen regulary in Londolozi and MalaMala and Kambulas.
And this is not me making things up, just open Sabi Sabi page and scroll.
And now in the past few weeks, we have new males on "their" former territory, even mating with their female and now few days ago seen far north in Sabi Sabi and now they even roar. Ofc if 2 new males push too far north, they will react.
This is clear territorial shift and vacanting process which started since they expanded north, but what do i know, maybe they are on spring break in Londolozi and MalaMala, beaches on Sand river there are quite nice this time of the year lol.
