They are really filling out well. He looks great. He's earned those scars, and wears them proudly, like a human wrestler/grappler with cauliflower ears.

Video just posted minutes ago, N'wa's get attacked by a croc, over a dead hippo meal. If that isn't the fastest reaction time of moving that you'll see, on two of them. No injuries, but a really close call. Some good video of Belly Scar.

That scar of his literally looks like one of his internal organs is protruding out there, perhaps a kidney. If that is the case, I am amazed it hasn't caused him way more problems than it has, like infections and such.
More than likely intestines from where the wound is. Just shows how hardy lions are, its looks like a fresh wound when he jumps out the water but hes had it since showing up in SS. amazing

We found three male lions resting in an open area not far from Bush Lodge after calling early in the morning. Not too far away, the fourth male was sprawled out under the shade of the trees while staying close to a lioness.
With each passing day the N'waswitshaka males look much bigger and stronger than never. I hope we can see soon new cubs into the Styx pride. Let's see what will happens

The pair of mating lions, that were seen over the weekend – with the rest of the male coalition - are still hanging around the same area. This was a first for our guests, who were thrilled to witness such a rare sighting
