There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Age - 13-14 yrs old
Found dead - 20th March 2018
Total length = 303 cm
Head-Body length = 207 cm
Shoulder height = 127 cm
Weight = 260 kg

According to vet, he had eaten a lot of meat which caused gastric torsion in his upper cardiac region.

From the pic, how much would you estimate for him to have eaten?
Where did you get these measurements from?
Thanks
Just for comparison between him and MB2 who was 195kg at 2.4 yrs old

Both no doubt would be over the curves so assuming all things equal T28 was a little larger than MB2.
Their age would create a difference as well. Star's muscles would be denser since they were mature.

I forgot to add that when Star died he was severely dehydrated (as the person told). Also he was really thin compared to start-mid of 2010s probably because of his age and was taking a beating from heavy competition.

His age quoted was wrong, he was 11 apparently. And while old age can affect some it’s not going to be a massive difference and certainly won’t effect body dimensions.
If the animal is gorged like that as well it won’t matter the age, undigested food weighs the same no matter the age of the cat. And unfortunately a 2nd source is lacking verification.
Not saying they’re lying, it’s always interesting to have that kind of data but we’d need a little more details.
I can PM you the screenshot of chat if you want.
