Great news, he is able to run, after feeding on a kill, he was seen running towards a lioness and wanted to play with her, but lioness was not in the mood :

Even tho his injury might never fully heal, ability to run is crucial in his survival, as he will need to hunt for his own when eventualy he leaves/gets kicked from the pride..

Shaka with mane.

I read reports that the young Zebenine lioness is injured probably as a result of a fight with another pride. I hope she makes it.

Skorro males at Motswari

We're so happy that these guys have hung around. Almost every night we are able to hear their roars from camp and often during lockdown we have had them passing through the campgrounds, leaving their unmistakable footprints on the earth below them. Here is a closer look at the older of the two Skorro males.

I read on a Facebook page (Lion's of Timbavati, I think) that the Zebenine lioness is mating with one of the Nharhu's. Does anyone know if her daughter survived?

I know that page no is a official report.
But he has talked with guys that have seen the Zebenine lionesses and the same guys have saying to him that the sub-adult Zebenine has died.

Sometimes not matter if is a "official source" At least they keep us informed during this lockdown like Lions of Kruger National Park among others.

Of course at least some them are doing good job, yet some of them do not. I still have in memory spreading fake news from about year ago of HB passing away. I am not saying that this dirrect fb page would also spread fake news, I am not judging anyone, yet I personally by far prefere to way for any official raport.

I couldn't find the direct reference to Zebenine sub being dead but I do hope she survives.

It's a tough world for small prides. I was hopeful the little boy and this girl would make it to strengthen the pride but pride dynamics can be cruel.

2 Mbiri males showed up in the heart of their old territory, but soon after 2 Nharhu males caught their scent and chased them away:

After they run away, 2 Mbiris where roaring:

Apperantly 1 of the Nharhus was limping and had blood on his pawn, so they might be fighting aswell..

Mbiris recently have seen a lot of time on the ege of their old territory and Nharhus, its speculated that they are getting pressured by other coalition in Kruger from the other side, so they might try to takeover they old territory, but as we see, Nharhus are not intimiated.. We'll se what will happen in future..
