There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Mabotlel Pride (Not to be confused with the already Birmingham Breakaway Pride these lionesses from the New Mabotlel Pride is another Breakaway of the core Birmingham Pride and the father of the cubs is also the Mbirhi Males. Good decision for them to breakaway as the core Birmingham Pride has far too many individuals at the moment (many competitions during eating), the Mbirhi Males is really putting their cog in the machines, have heard also that they are mating with the Birmingham Breakaway lioness this past week or so.)
Description of the Post:
Introducing the Mabotlel Pride! These two females have moved separately from the Birmingham pride for long enough now that they are considered their own, new pride.
They have been named after an area in the Timbavati riverbed that these lionesses and their one remaining cub have been spending their time in. The Mbirhi males have also been moving around them, and the younger female has been seen mating again.
This is them from a past Instagram Post, below is description of the video:
The youngest lion cubs on Ngala belong to the sister of the white lioness - together with the other female born during lockdown, these four lions have been moving on their own for some time now.
Recently they have been spending time around the southern parts of Ngala. We are curious to see if they will be rejoining the Birmingham Pride in the future or if they will rather keep to themselves!
