There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yeah the black spot we have spoke about here many times. It might be linked to TB or any other disease like Tick born illnesses. Bebesia is another big one and could possibly be cause of black spot or declining health in lions. Could also be any one of the dozens of disgusting tick born illneses lions can get. I guess we pay more attention to BovTB as it's kind of zoonotic as it can spread from Buffalo to felines? Ticks are so prevalent it's kind of natural so they don't get paid attention to as much. Could also be a combo of diseases like TB and Bebesia together or something like that.
With Mohawk Avoca having those hematoma on his elbows was he ever tested? As far as I know he doesn't have the mark.
