There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Lions of Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro and others)

United States BA0701 Online
( This post was last modified: 09-02-2020, 07:18 AM by BA0701 )

Recently watched a show called Lion Gangland, about the Vumbi Pride and their two dominant males C-Boy and Hildur. In the show, the antagonist coalition males are called The Killers. Knowing many of you were following lions back then, is The Killers the real name of the coalition, or something they came up with for the show? Certainly doesn't sound like your typical coalition name, is why I ask. I have searched for them, and only come across references to the show. The two pride males, C-Boy and Hildur were really big incredibly gorgeous males, with long, thick, beautiful manes. Shocking how hard life is for those Serengeti Desert lions, and still they endure, and are a successful pride. Thank you in advance, for your help!!
