An old video, posted two years ago. Shows two lions, a male and a female, stealing a kill from a mother cheetah. Not only did the cheetah have to expend tremendous energy to catch the gazelle, the vultures flock to the kill while she goes to retrieve her cubs, which then draws in the two lions. She then has to focus on protecting her cubs from the lions. Tough times for the world's fastest cat, for sure.
The size of those two lions is noteworthy, they are huge. The male's nose is practically as big as the gazelle's head, and the lioness is very big, and very well fed.
