These male #lions were found lying near to a small pool of water. They were fast asleep until the sun had just set enough for them to feel comfortable to move. The two approached the water for a drink and then suddenly started walking off with purpose.

The lion dynamics continue to keep us on the edge of our seat. The Styx and Nkuhuma young males were found at sunrise one morning being chased over several kilometres by an aggressive Birmingham male. Then, the following morning, the Othawa male was found in the exact same area.

Makes sense. According to Jen, he chased them into Singita which is the Othawa Males territory and even roared in Singita as shown in vids

Wow amazing news, thats almost 2 months since her mother died, it looks like theres more to this young female then we taught..

Lone cubs with single moms like her and Tsalala young female are prob taught way more in survival skills and hunting from younger age then some cubs in big litters and big prides..

Still long way to go for her, but theres hope now..

I wonder what her diet is, and if she has had any contact with her fathers.

Glad to hear she is doing ok.

It does make kinda sense do.
Most of the other times, its a young cub being suddenly ripped out from the nurturing sheltered safety from a pride.

This cub got spoon-fed the nomadic lifestyle from the start. Her lifestyle is now probably a lot closer to that of an leopard right now.

I dont think we will see a return of the Sparta pride tough.
If she settles down again. It will be completely different. Worthy of a new name.
