Rather fascinating, isn't it? Mother nature never fails to amaze in many different ways!
Yes !
I saw a documentary several years ago about a pride of lions in the Londolozi park, I believe... The prides chased an adult giraffe which, by penetrating into a river bed, slipped and fell into the water on the stones, breaking itself the legs bones. Straight after the corpse was surrounded by several crocs. But a male lion by revealing his fangs, mouth opened, entered into the water in order to start dismembering the giraffe's body. The crocs let him do that, and the commentator explained that the reptiles were unable to dismember the corpse as the lion did. Thus the male lion could quietly carve a piece of meat.
