Is strange behavior very nervous and unpredictable to what might happen.
Would not say it is strange behavior as male lions or female lions will kill another cub given the chance if it is not theirs or from another pride. For Styx Male behavior I would say it is not strange as he seems to be announcing that K12 is his for the taking, somewhat mating with K12 did definitely give a confidence boost to him.

Also if that was the older Kambula lioness wasn’t that the young lioness mother? Maybe that does not matter. I am thinking does it rule out the young lioness from hurting the cubs? The Kambula lioness may be her mother but she has cubs and does not and may not want her around her cubs. It has been seen with other lionesses once they have been separated some time with cubs they may not come back together.
If you mean in the latest part of the video where the cub is killed it seems like it is the Styx Male and K12, seems like she also did take part in the killing of the cub. As if it is a Kambula lioness she would have defended the cub and attacked the Styx Male but from seeing the video the Styx Male is quite relax to other lioness with him so I would conclude that it is K12 that is with him on the latter part of the video where the killed cub is shown.
Hi what I meant specifically of strange behavior is the Ndhzenga male lion. I wonder did he leave him alone, because he recognize him as his son? Or Ndhzenga male lion was not as aggressive, because of what you said; Styxt male lions interest is K12. In everything that is happening yes male lions and lionesses are around their cubs, and other male lions do not want other male lions around.
What I am talking about unpredictable in the video it was said that Ndhzenga male lion could have been more aggressive and hurt Styxt male when he tripped. I do believe he recognized him, but the worrying part if Ndhzenga male lions would not harm him and he stays around Kambula hopefully he does not hurt young Kambula cubs, but also Ndhzenga male lion may not had want to fight. I am not sure what would be best if Styxt can stay it would be good, but I always thought and saw the point is to help the young cubs.
