Othawas (as sisters would prob not accept her at this point anyways) and Tiyelele are too far from her traverse area.
Was going to say this. Othawas are now pretty much mature (have started mating), and they have each other. The two younger Southern pride lionesses must have helped their mother kill the Styx lioness, and they were younger, so it's not impossible that the Othawas could try and kill Tsalala.
K12 would be perfect. Her union with the Styx male seems unlikely to work, there's no way he could hold a territory by himself surrounded by duos and coalitions. The Orpen male was much older and wasn't able to. It would better for both K12 and Tsalala if she left him and joined her half-sister, but of course lions can't think like this. We can only hope this is how things play out. Now she's lost her cubs it would be the perfect time to join another lioness.
Have they started mating? I know the PCM's were seen with one of them, but I didn't know it was a mating situation.
I might be mistaken but I swear there was a report of one of them mating with one of the PC males, after that initial sighting of the bigger PC male with them. I stand waiting to be corrected though.
I never saw that, but I can't call myself the most informed person in this regard. I had seen where they were with the one female that seemed sort of frightened, but never saw that they had actually mated.
