I agree that if all Nkhulus were healthy, they would have ousted the Gijimas a long time ago.
Still, it's extremely impressive how the Gijimas are here "throwing hands" against a coalition of 6-7 territorial males, to a point that even when they lose a clash, they at least started the clash winning, and they only struggle when up against 4 or 5, when it was 2v3 they seemingly won easily despite the two strongest Nkhulus being among the 3.
We saw with nomadic Kambulas v BDM how the BDM quickly went nomadic just by trying to deal with 4 males that didn't even want to take over a territory even if it was for free. BDM realized it was 4 against 2 and the Kambulas wouldn't lose by just hearing or seeing them, and gave up.
Even a stronger duo, I'd argue, would flee without a second thought way back when 5 healthy nomadic Nkhulu + Delaporte challenged them. Being able to win that day was crazy, 1 hour of back and forth till they finally won.
Now Nkhulus are rarely with all their members and many are not 100% healthy, but they're fully territorial, in their prime years, still 6-7 strong and have met the Gijimas as 3, 4 and 5 males, still the Gijimas are holding the line.
Honestly I don't know if even the PCM would be able to do that, S.Avocas clearly couldn't despite their initial success displaying some insane feats of strength.
Hell forget about Sabi Sands, I'm not sure anyone else would be able to be doing what the Gijimas are doing, even the Mbiris couldn't defeat 3 Nharhus ( tho tbf they were individually very strong ), and even back in the past, powerful duos like Mlowathi and S.Matimba couldn't defeat or even hold the line for long against coalitions of 4-5 young males.
Gijimas however are here for over a half a year dealing with their territorial neighbors who are 6-7 males and have met them multiple times. Not only the Gijimas are holding the line but they are 2-2 in number of clashes, as well as having initial success in the clashes they ultimately loss, not to say that they are often in the offensive invading the Nkhulu territory in KK.
Gijimas are very "special"/unique lions in many ways, I can only hope they spread their great genes in all the prides they control, raising their offspring to adulthood, it's new blood in SS, and we couldn't ask for better genes.
