There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I guess we can expect that this is just the start? Refresh me... She would have been a Mohawk right? I think Mohawk is going to settle into Babysitter role for a while.
Are you asking if she’s Mohawk’s daughter? No, she’s a Matimba offspring.
Chela is the lioness that usually is caretaking the older sub adults which include her son.
Yes, I think this is the ‘beginnings’ of a take over. The BDYMs has steadily been gaining confidence and have begun to seek out mating opportunities.
The best thing is for chela and the two AE daughters to remain separate and attract the new males. To give Mohawk and the younger subadults time.
This of course is best case scenario. Things don’t always play out this way.
I was actually asking if this was previously a lionness with Mohawk. I think you answered that one.
