There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Yes, I agree that the N'was would be hard-pressed to be very good dominant males right now due to them not sticking together recently after their incursion into Mala Mala. They will doom most of their progeny if they try to take too many prides. Since 13 offspring were not enough for them, they now will have to either retreat or choose the Kambula Young Breakaways or Manghenis.... I highly doubt that they can SUCCESSFULLY take both those prides on, defend any new offspring, along with raise their 13 cubs. Even if they only take one more pride, they could be spreading themselves too thin if both prides are not in close proximity. They might soon split, but I don't see that as viable because of the health of 2 of them.
The poor Manghenis....their one shining example of success with the Kambulas, thanks 99% due to the protection of the 4 Majings in their prime. This goes to show how important males are to the stability of the entire pride, and if they will be able to increase their numbers easily.
