There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

That is to big extend individual think so it is very hard to tell. I presume most of lions (possibly great most) at that stage wouldn't be able to fully take care of themselfs, but I believe some would. Other think is that most likely young males split off just for a couple of days and should reunite with some other group of Othawa pride members. Also it is fully normal that at that stage lions (males in particular) spent some of their time away from the rest of the pride practicing hunting on their own so I would not worry much about those males, but even the opposite - some time on their own should serve them well and prepare them more for future nomadic stage.
