This confirms our speculations that this 2 boys are born around early-mid 2013 (Smudge Nosed male is prob a bit older then Tattered Eared male as we also see that by these pictures) and that they are now around 9 yrs old, and not 10-12 as some suggested, they are around the age of Avocas.

"The Birmingham & Nkuhuma male lions were hunting buffalo. Not dominant at Sabi Sabi, it was interesting to see their reaction to lions vocalising in the distance - possibly the N’waswishaka males. These 2 nomadic males became instantly alert, abandoned their hunt & moved off."

WHATTT.....
Have to guys noticed one thing...
The way mohawk approaching the young nkuhuma is exactly the same sekekama once approached sekoti.
History repeats itself.
These adults males are very skeptical towards young ones even if their own sons for mating rights

Thats normal behavior between fathers and subadult males when they reach age of 2-3 yrs old, that can be more intense if the male is very "dominant/agressive" character as Mohawk is.
Males are doing this to eventually oust their sons from the pride, otherwise they would start to mate with "his" females, "steal" his food and eventually "challenge" his authority..
Yes, there are fathers who form a coalition with his sons, but that happens only when fathers also get oust from the pride by other coalition and then he links with his sons, fully dominant and territorial male will never form a coalition with his sons.
So apparently 4 Kambula cubs are still alive and doing well:

Nhenha leaving them might actually give a better chance for those cubs to survive (althrough it will be hard) as Nhenha with them would give them unwanted attention from N'ws, also he cant protect them against N'ws anyways so there is no use of him and without him cubs will get much more food from females.

At this point is it possible that Nhena forms a coalition with NYM and Kambula Subs? It would be 8 males coming togehter so it is not a likely scenario.
