Hope fully DM will move permamently south and join his brothers in taking over Kambula pride. He could be great support in dealing with Plains Camp males.

Dunno. His brothers seem to be doing very well without him. So they dont need another brother tagging along.

Unless DM is alone strong enough to beat the other two in a fight. There also isnt really much for him to gain either. He would be giving up being the dominant male of one pride. Just to become a foot soldier in another. Which is probably the reason why they split in the first place. While if he stabs his former coalition members in the back while they are distracted by the Kambullas, he can take over their pride himself.

If they did join up, the Plain Camps males would likely be the laughing third party as it would mean two prides now become vacant to take over.

This was prob 1 week or more old video, when DM was seen in MalaMala, DM was today seen with Talamatis and other 2 brothers where also north recently with Nkuhumas.

I dont think reunion will happen until both parties will need each other, as @Duco Ndona said.

Also, Blondie and Mohawk first need to overtake Kambulas from Bboys, and later deal potentially with PC males if they try to contest for territory..

Im suprised Blondie and Mohawk didn't push harder for Kambulas now when Tinyo is basically none factor and they only need to deal with Nhenha, instead they returned back north to Nkuhumas, again.

I guess their tactic will be the same as was until now, slowly gaining ground and try to establish themselves as dominant force in the area and attract females.

So far they did. Now they will also have to fight PC boys if they want to takeover Kambula pride and so far it seems they are very intrested in it. I do not know if they need DM's help as at this point it is impossible to judge how capable opponents PC males will be, but possible they could need DM's assistance.

Idk what you mean. Beat them at mating rights? He is definitelly able to do it and even if he couldn't it doesn't matter that much as in the end alll coalition members would get to mate with Kambulas when they take over.

He would get new females to mate with.

Perhaps, that is if they would find those prides.

Birminghams are already done as terrytorial males. They does not seem to have any holdings anymore nor pride under control.  PC males could be a challange,  a challange in which DM could support his brothers.

They will be back south very soon. Also as DM is traveling so far south as Mala Mala, he will probably also find out soon that there are new females in the region to mate with and possibly will go for Kambula females as well.

Wrong, Bboys are still territorial males and dominant over some Kambula females, until N. Avocas claim all Kambulas and all Bboys land and oust them as nomads..

That might happen soon, but for now thats how still is atm..

Avocas already pushed Birminghams from what used to be core of their territory. PC males were recently seen in company of Kambula pride. Birminghams have nothink left.

"The Plains Camp Males have been making themselves known through Londolozi over the last few weeks. Not yet actively challenging for the territory, they are certainly growing in confidence as they begin to give off full-blown calls. They are still wary of the surrounding males but I am sure it is just a matter of time before something begins to shift."

This is completely incorrect, both are still alive and both are still dominant over their pride. They might not have full control but don't be too quick. A good examples is the Addo boys who everyone thought already took over the Kwandes territory but they failed. Don't count your eggs before it hatches.

Here we go again, for idk what time..

Core territory, or territory as a whole means 0, it is the pride what is important, lions territory changes daily (couple members said that here already, but i guess we dont know nothing..)

And N. Avocas campaign in south was almost 2.5-3 weeks ago, where they killed cubs and seen with Kambula females, after that they returned north again and Nhenha (idk what is with Tinyo) was seen after that in company of Kambula females and subadults, and recently another female gave birth to Bboys cubs..

PC males in company of Kambula pride? First words.. They where seen in company of 1 female (from the video) and that female (with dot on her left cheek) was even seen mating with Wide Nose Nwaswitshaka male, at Umkumbe months ago, and i didnt see Nwaswitshakas, 4 males, taking over Kambulas after that.. And where was this sighting?? At Windmill in MalaMala, almost on Kruger border, hardly territory of Bboys..

I repeat again, until Avocas take control of entire Kambula pride and oust Bboys out of there, we cant speak like its done deal..

Its exactly the same situation with Imbali male (who has 2 Talamati females and DM's former territory) vs DM (who has other females and subadults) and i dont see anybody claiming that Imbali male ousted DM as done deal..

Will both scenarios happen in future? Prob yes, but we still cant claim that its done deal..

If tomorrow comes report/video/sighting from MalaMala, that N. Avocas ousted Bboys, they become nomadic, killed all cubs, claimed all females, then thats it, they takeover Kambulas.. But we cant claim that when Nhenha was seen with Kambula females few days ago and patroling in MalaMala, meanwhile N. Avocas where chilling in Chitwa with Nkuhumas..

Thank you @Slayerd.. I think @BA0701 and @Lycaon should react (warn) in these kind of false (or provocative) information (not first time on this topic). . We are not YT or FB..

Please keep in mind that most of what we say and post here is a matter of opinion. Ultimately lions do whatever suites them, no need for us to be in-civil to each other.

Lets enjoy the drama of life as it unfolds. We may just be the last generation to witness all this.

Agree.

But one thing is opinion, another is claiming something..

Claiming that Bboys are not territorial anymore and dont have a pride is false info, because they where seen with Kambula pride and patroling (Nhenha) on their latest sighting..

But yea, i might just be silent and read false info here..

All, yes, please, let's get back to conversing about these beautiful animals.

I am of the camp, that while things certainly are not currently favorable for the B-Boys, until we hear that have gone nomadic, or been defeated in combat, and after what they did to OM, I am not going to write them off.

Anything else claimed, in the absence of ranger reports, videos, etc... is opinion and speculation, which comes with the territory when discussing a topic as dynamic as wild lions.
