Deon Kelbrick: " Lions are nocturnal so when the rest of the bushveld is getting ready to settle down for the night, this lion was having a last yawn before the nights hunting began.

Spotlight photography can be tricky but if you get the hang of it you can get extraordinary photos at night. I had the help of my good friend @millsgarry who taught me the art of spotlight photography. "

Also I thought Othawa male to be larger than both Birminghams, but that doesn't seem to be the case either.

Hmm, interesting thing about Othawa lioness with 3 new males.

That could only be Aunty Othawa (with limp) as other 2 where seen with the pride at that time and they are not in esturs, while she was seen 5 days ago with HB mating..

HB hasn't been seen with the pride since o,n Savanna videos, hope nothing happened to him..

I just cant belive we still dont have any photos of this 3 new males at this point..

she could be just taking one for the team to distract the new males from the pride. lionesses have been known to do this keep cubs and sub adults safe from intruding males.

Note: I believe that if they have said the Birmingham are the largest males at the moment, Maybe they already have seen to Dark Mane?, IDK, tho would be interesting, Dark Mane Avoca is a magnificent looking male

Dark Mane wasn't seen yet on Mala Mala. He is most likely the largest lion in Sabi Sands at the moment.

The thing is that there is a significant difference between Nhenha and Tinyo. Nhenha is much larger. I think Nhenha is the heaviest, then DM, then the Fourways pride male, then between Othawa and Tinyo. The Fourways pride males are also pretty big and the 2nd of the 2 Southern Avocas is pretty big too so I'm not sure where to put him.
