Xikukutsus father.
He was mauled by Ross males quite badly (cant find the picture now), i always thought he died from those injuries, maybe he survived, cant remember when that happened exactly.

I think that was December 2015, he was the last brother to stay with Avocas. Giraffe / Avocas are quite a mystery cos one by one they just ended up disappearing, I only know of the last two, Brutus and his bro, who were found dead.

I was going to post this, if it hadn't been already. It is interesting, he says that it is believed (as I think we all believed from the start), that the Mbiris are believed to have been the males who attacked, and ultimately killed, Mandevu. But he is saying that since the attack on Mandevu, that Shaka Mbiri has had a limp, which has added to their belief that it was the Mbiris.

Right!! What the ranger says looks like pretty good circumstantial evidence that Mbirie boys did it.
Although, I think what other have been saying about Mandevu that he was attacked right before the final fight apparently with the Mbiries so he was weakened.
As he pointed out, Mandevu went east into Ngala before returning injured through roughly the same path.
So he had returned from Kruger already and never went west after that. Mongawane had not a single scratch on them and if they had attacked Mandevu in the west, at Kruger, Mandevu wouldn't have ventured into Ngala, he'd be recovering in his territory.
Day before Mandevu was found injured in Ngala, Mbiris were filmed there in Ngala as well, the newer footage of the same sighting shows a clear look on Scar's face:

Cut on his nose and right side of his face, dried nose blood as well, all with the same freshness as Mandevu's injuries.
And now Matt said Shaka was seen limping as well.
There was some hate towards Mbiris on Facebook ( not as much as when Guernsey was killed though as there wasn't a video this time ) reason why some people were pushing the narrative that Mbiris weren't the culprits, to "defend" them from the criticism, as if what they were doing needed any defending ( in the sense of saying it was not them, as if killing Mandevu had been a crime ) it's just their natural behavior after all.

Nice circumstantial evidence.
Question, there is no evidence of a previous attacked on Mandevu right before the final fight against apparently the Mbiries boys??

None that I am aware of. I saw mention that he was attacked twice, caught laying up due to injuries from the first attack, but I have seen no evidence to this point that such an event took place.

NEW sAFARI VIDEO
Matt comments on something I had seen in other sightings, and its that one of the younger cus seems to have a very dark orange coating...really stands out from the siblings.

Amazing moment with the cubs. If I'm not wrong, there are three males and two females. The two cubs with dark coat are males.

There isn't. We just had no footage of his belly or head below the mane in the initial photos, making us think the injuries weren't as serious as what we'd later find out.
