This situation is kinda similar to what NK pride had with Kambulas vs PCMs/Mantimahle sons, more powerful coalition comes in and take the females.

Mandevu/Ncile abandoning Mbiris and this area, left space for Mbiris to venture in and mate with females. 

As Mandevu returned, he and Orpen ym reclaimed the area and are behaving territorial, but they still prob lack strenght to hold of powerful duo like Mbiris (unlike Mandevu and 100% Ncile), who occasionaly want to check and mate if theres available females. 

Not sure if Mbiris will try to fully expand, as they are occasionaly visiting and mating with Mbiri females for years now (since Orpen males died off and Tintswalos started to establish themselves).

Maybe for them the Mbiri pride is already theirs, they even sired cubs there for all they know, maybe they just see Mbiri pride like PCM see Manghenis ( altough PCM case is even worse because theres much less distance between the territorys and PCM dont quite have a mega pride to take care of at the same time) Reply
