Mandevu, Ncila, Orpen son, Scar and Shaka, any of them might be the father. Orpen, regardless who the father is, would accept the cub anyway since it's just another pride member/younger brother. Mandevu even if he didn't mate at the appropriate time ( I think he did tho ) had good chances of accepting the cubs anyway since it was always his pride ( natal even, he spent his entire life with them, aside of a few months ). Mbiri males have no bond left with their natal pride, they'd be the most difficult to trick, but it seems they fully believe they are the fathers.

If the mother is one of the Matimba daughters, even if he resembles Mbiri males in the future, it might be difficult to guess as Mbiris would be his uncle, never mind all the previous inbreeding all back to the Old Skybeds. Mbiri males and their Mbiri sisters' grandfathers are the Old Skybed males on both sides of the family.

Anyway, good for the cub, he has 2 coalitions protecting him, his chances of making it have increased quite a bit now, more territory to roam through.

But speaking of the Mbiri males, what a duo. While it's difficult to consistently keep a great form at their age, when they are in great condition, they are still very impressive.

On top of all the ( 17+ ) cubs/subs in the Birmingham pride, they have a cub in that new Birmingham Breakaway pride, with the other female mating, have this cub in their natal pride which they believe it's theirs, they might sire more cubs from now on, and that's not mentioning the 10/10 Mayambula cubs they raised, of which have their own cubs already, who knows how many Skorro cubs that they raised to independence ( it was a mega pride ).

And they are still going strong, will reach 8 years in power as a duo in the next 6 months. When they finally get dethroned or die, it'll be difficult to point out a more successful duo. Reply
