This was posted on guide Brett's "Painted Wolf" channel. Seems poaching in the Manyeletti and surrounding areas are alive and well unfortunately.  This occasion he describes was an unfortunate leapord but lions are very well affected, for example, Ncilie.

Bad fence condition + no patrols at night.. thats a problem.

Just in last 2 yrs or something too many incidents : Hukumuri, Talamatis escaped reserve, Lambile, RR, Ncile, 2 Talamatis apperantly shot (not confirmed), Tavangumi, maybe even Juniors incident. And thats only what we know.

Manyeleti and parks authorities need to do something.

"A bruised and battered Mandevu this morning. It is unclear at the moment but the fresh wounds may have come from his brother Ncila. It looks like the winds may have shifted and Ncila has taken control once again of the Mbiri pride. They moved off with Ncila vocalising and scent marking, Mandevu taking up the rear. Stay tuned!"

Talamatis escaped in early 2021 flooding when fences collapsed in southern Manyeleti.

2 lions where apperently shot in the area around Hukumuris incident, as they also escaped reserve (said by guides when they where discussing Hukumuri incident, i forgot name of the channel) might be related to that flooding fences problem.

They didnt mentioned which lions, but then someone here posted ( i think it was member Gijima who is not active anymore i believe) that he heard from the field that 2 Talamatis where shot. Around the same time 3rd Talamati and 1 sub female disappeared, but then apparently 3rd male was seen after, although no pics, so idk.

This is not confirmed and might not be true tho.

Awesome to see Ncile in full power again.

Its amazing to observe how lion hierarchy is such based on power, how they feel strenght and weakness in a lion.

While this is great to see, for so many reasons, it causes a little confusion. I am not sure when these things are being recorded/posted, but the guide claims that these "new" injuries on Mandevu are in fact from that fight with Red Road.

Still, it is great to see Ncile sharing a meal with them, even Lambile, while cautious, he still approached the kill and fed with them too.He has that black spot on his shoulder, like so many other have been seen with as well, including S8.
