There are 5 Adult Lionesses in the pride.   The Three Original and two of their daughters sired by Thanda Impi.

Red Road has 5 female Sub Adults in the pride and 4 males.  They were born Between April and November of 2020.

Those 3 original females are sisters of the Birmingham males right?

Yes.   They’re from the same generation of litters.   Daughters of the Old Birmingham Males

Then he would have wounds on his front, not on the back leg.

A lot can happen in a pride/group scuffle, when chaos erupts, often lions bite each others for no reason.

Even in a fight for mating rights, you often see females bite 2 fighting males.

I referred to comment particularly saying  wounds were probably caused by fighting for mating rights.

In that scenario Mandevu would have wounds on the face and maybe a bit on his back or leg while there Mandevu has wounds only on his lower parts of the body.

I always want to support Ncile.
Although Lambile's figure is getting better,
Maybe Lambile will be third again if Nclie recovers completely and rules Pride again.
The Thandaimpi descendants are always sorry for their few healthy sons.
Is Redroad currently well protected and healthy? Who is the threatening rival?

Last photo I saw of Red Road was a couple days ago. He was wet after being run off from buffalo, looked good.

Red road male's dominant life is really impressive.
I think it's really hard for a male to live alone than two male lion duo.
I hope that his dominating rule will last a long.

If the duo members of the progeny were mixed differently, I would probably have written a different history now haha.

Like humans, there's no such thing as if.
It's sad, but because of that, it's more valuable and beautiful.

@Timbavati@Mwk85 @DeerMe thank you
