He is so similar to RRM.

What pride did he originate from?

Both Mandevu and Ncila were born into the Mbiri Pride.   The same pride they’re protecting right now.   Lambile was born in the Nharu Pride next door :)

Sorry, I got Mandevu confused with Lambile, I knew two of them were from the Mbiri pride, and that Ncile was one of them. They are the same Mbiri males that BYM bumped into while they were feeding on a kill, prior to his leaving the Birmingham Pride.

Yes.  That was quite a sighting indeed.   Imagine if fate were different and YBM had joined the Mbiri boys back then.

When that video was released, that is exactly what I thought might happen. BYM seemed he really wanted to go up to them but was hesitant for obvious reasons. The Mbiri boys acted like they didn't even know he was standing there. Maybe they didn't, or maybe being nomadic they just didn't care, whatever the reasons we now have a different and equally exciting situation for us to follow.

2/2 Black Dam Young Males reappeared in Manyeleti near the Tintswalo Male/Mbiri Pride territory.

If you recall, they also did a drive by of this area last year also but didn’t stay long.

“ 2 males from the Black Dam pride who have recently split from their brothers in Thornybush. They have been scent marking in Mbiri territory. A war could be on the way.”

This might be problem for Tintswalo males if these 2 guys decide to attack them.

Ncila will be no help, Lambile is also questionable (he didn't participate in clash vs RRM) and has leg problem, only leaving Mandevu as full healthy male.

2 BDM's might have upper hand if clash happens, they are also not so young and only slightly younger then Mbiri boys, they are over 5 and fully grown.

Manyeleti is way better for the new boys in regard of level of competition among male lions than Timbavati, good for Black Dams.

Why not? he should be able to help. He's not 100% in terms of being able to extend his jaw fully and that may affect his ability to get a good hold on someone but he's fit to fight.

Because hes not exactly behaving territorial again, yet.

Injured and stressed lion like that will not fight unless he has to.
