There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Oh really. I've see a picture of them and both look as the same age.
so both males were fathered by the Same fathers in different times.

(I don't know where is the Koppies young male.)

He was still with the pride and Orpen males, who most likely chased him away and he went into Kruger.

That have more sense. In march 2020 Tintswalo have told he was still with the Koppies pride. Do you know when he was chased off?

In other Pictures he had those face like the Mbiri male (Slitnose jr too)

Idk, but prob in few months back, he wasn't seen in any sighting with Koppies pride in Tintswalo vlogs during quarantine, and now Koppies females have cubs, so hes most likely gone for good.

After a blazingly hot day in the Manyeleti Game Reserve in South Africa, the lion pride slowly got going. In early dusk they started moving to a nearby puddle to slake their thirst.

Always impressive to see a lion pride lined up on the edge of the water with all the tongues furiously lapping up the water. After satisfying their thirst they quietly make a ghostly disappearance into the early darkness, starting the hunt!!!!

any news, updates, or opinions on lion dynamics in manyeleti? where are the 4 nahru young males that went nomadic at now? they had a brother that joined the mbiri pride and i think the mbiri young males along with the nahru male that joined them will reak havoc soon. they have the size and coalition numbers to do a lot of damage in the manyeleti. red road male, orpen males, and northern avoca may not be able to hold territory when these youngsters are ready to take over.

Atm, dynamics are stable, but as you say, that will change soon as Mbiris left their pride.. Its Nharu male + 3 Mbiri young males..

Theres 5 Nharu males that went nomadic, they where last seen at the end of 2019, east of Manyeleti at Mluwati Concession, but no sightings after that, they most likely went deeper into Kruger, as they didnt try to takeover Imbali and Hamiltons prides..

that's right, there were 6  nharu males. the 5 of them that stayed and left together can do some serious damage as well.
