As of right now, things appear to be going well for the lone nomad Jack of the Shamwari Private Game Reserve. The father and son coalition that had been the pride males of the Southern Pride moved up north, and Jack has introduced himself the ladies of said pride. Really do hope things work out for Jack, he's been alone since his sister disappeared a while back.

It's very interesting, the dynamic occurring with Jack in the Shamwari Game Reserve.  Seems like, after some time, the father decided to leave with his oldest son after the son separated himself from the pride.  Apparently, he decided to go with him and wander north instead of protecting his last 4 set of cubs which are only around 7-9 months old, I think.  Maybe he was really feeling the pressure being alone against Jack, having the risk of being ousted as a lone male without his son around to back him up.  The son, wisely, did not want to stay while approaching his nomadic days, to breed with his natal pride.  Only time will tell what will happen to this father/son coalition.

Wonder how many prides there are overall in the reserve.... And how many have males over them.
