Prob 2021.

There should be 5 males from 2021 based of this picture:

We can clearly see 5 males around the same size, with 1 male being bigger (3rd young male from Mapoza).

Thats prob the male who dominated Birmingham Nephew and often hangs alone.

Idk if he is part of these 4 who are in SS, or if he is alone?.

Hello friends.

I want to share a finding, actually I don't know if someone noticed this before. I was researching Plains Camp pride, which required some effort because it's a pride with scarce reports.

I found pictures from december 2020, of 3 cubs sired by Southern Avocas (the one on the left is the "PC young male") with the last Eastern Bank female, who joined Plains Camp pride (I will explain this in a new Lion Tales post soon).

Well, I noticed that the cub at the middle has an spot on the right eye iris. Photo by Zaheer Ali

Then I found the same female one year later, December 2021 (look at the spot on her right iris)

So... we have a S. Avoca daughter of 2019 generation living in PC pride. I have more IDs of PC pride females, that I will post later.

It is well known that PCM left their natal pride, ousted by S. Avocas, along with 2 sisters sired by Mantimahles. Through some research, I could ID both females, both of them returned to their natal Plains Camp pride.

PCM Sister #1: "Eye Scar" lioness

She is easiest to identify. This female has an "arachnid" shape scar on the inner corner of her left eye.

PCM Sister #2:  "2nd Mantimahle Daughter"

This lioness was also seen with PCM ins SS during, their nomadic times. She was rather difficult to identify, because she doesn't have any striking feature, therefore, ID is based mainly on whisker pattern that somone posted long ago: https://web.facebook.com/groups/25724698...7007779222
