There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"Maxabeni and Tatowa were seen again mating yesterday evening with the female still being quite aggressive in her pursuit of the larger male. As always, it has been an amazing experience for our guests!"

From Mala Mala:

BOO! The Tamboti female gets the fright of her life when the late Princess Alice Pans male snuck up on her undetected. This video highlights the extreme stealth and reflex that these animals are capable of. Video by ranger Mike Kirkman.

Click on it to play.

Princess Alice Pans is the name Mala Mala gave to the Camp Pan male, the father of Maxabeni, who dissapeared last year at 15 years old.

Imagine if that was him trying to attack her. How easy it would have been? She had absolutely no idea he was there, even when he was one of the biggest leopards around.

I never stop being amazed by these wonderful creatures.

Stealth, power, beauty all in one perfect spotted package.
