Tingana
*This image is copyright of its original author

Tingana is one of the absolute biggest males found Sabi Sands, and inhabits one of the best areas of Sabi. He lives in the area where Tyson the male Leopard lived. He used to be skittish around vehicles (Hence the name Tingana which means "shy"), but seems to have relaxed a bit around them, and now he is a strong very confident male, that have mated with alot of females. He is estimated to around 9 years of age. His ancestery is unknown.

One of the most impressive Leopard kills I`ve ever seen, This is Tingana taking down a full grom blue Wildebeest

Tingana is a real badass Leopard
Here he is figthing over an Aardvark kill with a hyena

Part 1

Part 2

He is only pushed away by the second hyena. Its few Leopards who would stand up to Hyenas like Tingana does!

Anderson

*This image is copyright of its original author

Anderson is also one of the biggest in Sabi, and also maybe the meanest looking Leopard you`ll ever see! Anderson is roaming the areas of Arathusa and Simbambili, which is in the northern part of Sabi Sands. And he`s staking out territory in the south west of Arathusa.

He was born in July 2008, so he`s in the middle of his prime right now.

His father is the Emsagwen male, and his mother is the Matshipiri female

Torchwood Male

*This image is copyright of its original author

Torchwood is an up and coming male Leopard in Sabi Sands, and will hopefully become a big, dominant individual some day.
He was born in 2010, and he began his nomadic journey in 2013 when he left his mother Inkanyeni.

Here he is cathing himself some catfish

He is 14 years and 7-8 months old now, and probably he is in his last weeks or months. I don't know.
What I do know is that he is a favorite of many people, and my own favorite male leopard.
He embodies what it is to be a leopard. The strenght, the stealth, the endless patience, the cunning, the speed, the fights, the long patrol walks, the females, the loneliness, the survival...

I too love Camp pan, he is the king of Sabi Sands. He was a great male, and how he has survied so many years with preassure from both Tyson, and now Tingana is unbelivable... He had some bad battle scars, but i saw a picture a few days ago, and it looked like his scars had healed fine ! Unfortunalty he`s probably gone in the course of this year, its sad, but its probably true

Tyson (Marthly)

*This image is copyright of its original author

Can`t make a thread about leopards from sabi, without mentioning one of the biggest beefcakes that ever set foot in Kruger.
The Marthly male originates from north of our boundary and was born in 2001. Seldom seen prior to 2010, this big dominant male leopard with a characteristically large mane now holds the majority of the property north of the Sand River. Sightings of him have become more frequent as he continues to extend his territory southwards. Initially he benefited from the void that was created by Manyeleti Male in the north and he has subsequently laid claim to this much sought
after area.
The Marthly Male is believed to have fathered the Nyeleti 4-4 female’s 3 cubs as well as Mbilo female and possibly the cub born to Tutlwa in Aug 2010.He is spending more and more time around the Sand River which, historically, was controlled by Camp Pan. It would be an epic duel should these two huge males come to blows but for the continuity of the leopards on northern Londolozi it would probably be beneficial if they could resolve the dispute of the river mutually.  Minutes before the below video was taken, the two males were seen in an altercation along the causeway of the Sand River.  Shortly after, the Marthly 3:2 Male mated with the Vomba 2:3 Female.
(This is infact written for Londolozi, he only lived for a short period of time in Sabi)

Tyson was born in 2001, and he is a very old male, if he`s still alive, Can anybody weigh in on that? All i know is that he lost his territory to Tingana
