also this is Gijama territory, isn't it? I wonder if we could see a confrontation. But Kambulas could leave the area very soon again, they just seem to be following buffalo, not really in search of new territory or a permanent stay. At least that's how I interpret their behaviour; opportunistic.

i think farthest south they went was Kirkman's Kamp last year, and tbf they pretty much every once in a while at Sabi Sabi so thats not really new.

Yes thats Gijima territory, they would very likely have no difficulties chasing the Kambulas.
Hoping the south won't turn into a hotspot amongst lion coalitions... Kambulas have been lately around Lion Sands and Sabi Sabi, NK & Talamati were also near south recently, no?

I think the Nkuhuma Male & Talamati Male move in to West is because of the Kambula Males staying more at South, as the duo aren't really going down South for quite some time (maybe 1-2 months now) that is also the time when Kambula Males starts to spend more time in South.
