Some interesting male Lion dynamics currently unfolding as 6 confident young male Lions have arrived in the area of Mjejane Game Reserve along the Crocodile River in the Southern Kruger National Park. 1 of the coalition of 3 current dominant Mjejane males was quite rightly very unhappy when he found them in the area. He was on his own and quite outnumbered so he wisely decided to move back across the Crocodile River to Kruger National Park to locate his coalition partners. The young males have been roaring and vocalising their intentions, the 3 bigger established Mjejane males will most likely defend this portion of their territory against the 6 young challengers but it will be interesting to see what unfolds and if the 6 stick around.
