There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I'm posting this not becouse of her size but becouse of her bravery. This is the Tiyani female leopard, she's quite brave and has stood her ground against hyenas many times:

"Tiyani is one brave little Leopard! She wasn't scared of this male Spotted Hyena. She actually fought him a little for the remains of a kill. The Hyena took a paw to the face a couple times and retreated"

Here she shared her kill with a single hyena, later she had to abandon the kill becouse more hyenas joined in:

Here she chases a hyena (click to play)

From Elephant Plains Game Lodge: "yes this is Tiyani. I think she is most probably the only young female bolt enough to chase after a hyena."

-A tigress amid the mysterious woods of Dudhwa -- Kishanpur.
After spending six long and exhausting days trying to track tigers in Dudhwa National Park I found myself wondering if there were any tigers at all to begin with. I have nicknamed Dudhwa "The Silent Forest," one that is magical and beautiful beyond words but spotting any wildlife seems a lost cause. For the first time in three years since I began my photography journey I found myself appreciating the sight of Spotted deer or a Langur monkey. I had all but given up hope of sighing a big cat. And then without a single alarm call or warning this magnificent beast presents herself and how!
Hope you enjoy this image made with determination, passion and a lot of hard work.

Huge Girl

#DUDHWA: THE PRISTINE BEAUTY || TRIP REPORT: MARCH by @jogi_prajapati .

There are no words to describe the beauty of this pristine forest. The long Sal trees and the huge Teak building a high canopy of the forest gives it a classic touch of beauty. The cherry on cake was like minded 12 travellers who had no expectations and came to enjoy the beauty of forest. We were not lucky enough to sight elephants and rhino, but were overwhelmed by the sight of the forest. Lot of stories to share from the trip but right now I will stop myself here by sharing this one beautiful sighting we had on trip. This is a huge Tigress which almost looked like male, just crossed over our path and obliged us with her looks.⠀
