How to Tag or Mention other users in your post

While writing a post you can mention or tag a user or member, by mentioning a member you send them notification that they should pay attention on the post you just mentioned them. So how to do this?

While writing a post, if you want to mention or tag a user start with at symbol ("@") follow by his username. So if you want to mention a member having username "xyzabc", just type @xyzabc and you are done.
But if there is space in username, for example "Xyz Abc" then use double quote around username like this - @"Xyz Abc" and you are done. You can use double quote on above example also, but it is not required if username has no space between them.

Note: Username should be type exactly as it is, please pay attention to spellings, spaces and capital or small letters in username. If it did not match with exact username it will not work. Username is located below the image of member in posts.

Using this method will send an alert to the mentioned or tagged members about the post you tagged them.

Auto-completion of username is added 20-Sep-2016

Now you will see suggested user as you will type to mention someone in the editor

To mention user start with "@" and continue to write few first letter (3 to 4) of the username, editor will automatically show you matching name

By default 1st user in the list will remain selected, you can use arrow keys(up and down) to select different user from the list. Click the enter button to insert the selected username in editor.
