Quite interesting to see, that honey badger backs off so easily. Honey badger intimidated looks like to be the situation, it is after all caracal holding ground while honey badger leaves.

Most cases of honey-badger's badassery are when it's being molested by a larger animal, where its options are to fight back or roll over.

It may be different among equals.

"He was also central to an amazing series of sightings over a few days in the south. Initially, he was found with a young impala kill in a tree and a dead hyena at the base of the tree. It is unclear who killed the sub-adult hyena, but when he was done with the small impala, he dragged and hoisted the hyena into a large jackalberry. He continued to feed of the carcass of they hyena for 3 days afterwards. It is the first time that any of us here had seen anything like this before!"

@Pckts :

About #813: When we see these sub-adult lions' forelimbs - especially the second lion's front leg section - , we understand that these hyenas can only follow them. By seeing their size, I don't imagine them belonging to a pride under the power of 2 or three older dominant males. Thus, they have to get expelled from the pride inside which they growed. So perhaps are they the future leaders of an other pride which they will take the control ?

 Mihir Mahajan‎-A sleuth of bears runs across a dusty jungle path on a hot summer’s morning as a big male tiger chases them while they feed on a termite mound.
(Tried getting the tiger in the frame too but it was too cluttered thanks to the dense bamboo).

This wild dog deserves some respect. It dares to steal leopard kill alone and manages to have a meal before leopard gets carcass back.

This link has whole story about that incident:

Male leopard flees African wild dogs to the tree. 0:08-1:30. Almost falling from the tree at one point, something not seen too often. Looked like being a bit confused what to do at that time and changing mind at last moment. But even though headline say "trying to climb", it climbed just ok :)

This is a good one :) Leopard makes a move and steals kill from wild dogs, wild dogs first get scared but immediately retaliate and leopard tries to flee with the kill. Then drops it while fleeing to the tree and there is a hyena which steals the kill Grin Pity, that video ends there, some wild dogs seemed to follow that lone hyena. A bit difficult to think, that there wouldn´t have been still some fight for that carcass.

Anyway quite funny how things can develop.

Just look at the forearms of these lions, pretty muscular tough-looking young males.
