Its not very clear what is going on in this rare and interesting video. The behavior of dholes towards the tiger is quite bold. In the beginning tiger is eating something but not clear - dhole or other kill, than the pack is trying unsuccessfully to appropriate the kill (or maybe to save their killed co-member that's why wild dogs look so courageous in the front of the tiger).
Hope in the future to be shot more scenes with interactions dhole-tiger, their relations are almost legendary.

@Wolverine :

About #322: We cannot affirm this tiger has killed a dhole... The camera moves too much from top to bottom. Impossible to know that. I believe the tiger took a small prey and the bolt dholes are unable to bother the felid seriously.

i assume it was a dhole by the way tigress run back to the corpse and aggressively grabbed it..also while she was busy chasing one of them none of the others went to the body they all were focused on her..you'd think they would grab a couple bites with her being preoccupied and near the ending she seemed disinterested walking away..i feel like if it was deer or some other prey she wouldn't give it up to a pack of that size

Dholes are Indian coyotes. Dholes is not big cats-killers. Even a gray wolf is stronger than 10 dholes. They can kill sick young (kittens) and very elderly big cats.

BAHRAICH: As many as 12 tamed wolves were killed by leopards Gadriyanpurwa village near Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday night. Sugreev Pal had tied his wolves in a compound a little away from his house. On Monday morning, he found the wolves lying dead.
The villagers informed the forest officials about the incident. Gadriyanpurwa village is hardly 500 metres away from the forest from Kakraha range of Katarniaghat reserved forest area. Forest ranger J K Verma sent a team to the spot. The team confirmed that the wolves were killed by leopards.

Today morning safari... Tigress choti madhu.. Killed wild dog in Junona zone.. #TADOBA..

This video should make us all rethink claims of any Dhole pack being able to Kill an adult healthy Tiger or even a reason for them to try.

I posted this video a while back, you can see the account by Rahul there.
Choti Madhud killed the wild dog and was chasing the rest off.

This lion made a kill earlier in the morning and had just finished eating his fill. As he stretched and walked away, the hyenas went insane for the carcass.
