A big thank you to @Ashutosh for providing the tutorial on this process.

The process for embedding a Youtube Shorts or Youtube Live video to your post involves a few added steps to the standard process of embedding a regular Youtube video.

1) When you select "Copy Link" from the share options of a Youtube Shorts video, from here:

*This image is copyright of its original author

2) The link will appear as such:

*This image is copyright of its original author

3) Paste your newly copied link in a text editor such as Notepad:

*This image is copyright of its original author

4) The portion of the link you are concerned with is the video specific code, which is this portion here (Everything between the / after shorts, and the ?):

*This image is copyright of its original author

5) Copy this link:

youtube.com/watch?v=

6) Paste it into your text editor, then copy your video specific code and paste it at the end of that link, it should look like this, and copy the entire link that you have just created:

*This image is copyright of its original author

7) Now, click the "Play Button" (the video insert button), in your WildFact Post window, here:

*This image is copyright of its original author

8) Which will give you this window, where you will paste your newly created link at the end of the last / that is already present in the URL box:

*This image is copyright of its original author

9) It will now look like this, and click the "Insert" button:

*This image is copyright of its original author

10) Voila!

Hi, @BA0701, great tutorial. Just a small correction. The “?” after the code is not to be copied. It is not part of the unique alpha numerical code of the video.

Thank you my friend, I would not have even know it were possible were it not for your informing me. I will update the UP, removing the ?, but at least it does not appear to reduce functionality, as the ? is in the demo video I added to the OP, along with another shorts video I shared in the lion section, so at least I know if someone followed the original instructions it shouldn't have caused anything to not work.. Thank you again, very much, my friend, for all your help on this!!

Very well done, very useful explanation, thank a lot. I managed to post a short video on "Lion predation". However I believe having taken into account the "?". But it works !

Glad it worked for you. The ? doesn't seem to impede functionality, I have had it work with and without it, but I believe the correct way is to not include it, as it is not part of the individual video ID number.
