You think that this is Hildas Rock male? I definitely do not think so. That male look more like Dreadlocks, but too dark mane to my eye (there I might be mistaken). I would bet that to be either Dreadlocks or someone new. I would even consider dominant males of Fourways pride.

You are right, it is actually Dreadlocks :

And 2 young males and 1 female from Sand River pride was too at this sightings with hyenas, prob chased away by Dreadlocks..
Very interesting, S. Avocas might be in big truble..

He is not alone, Hildas Rock and Tsalala are close by, if anyone is in truble thats S. Avocas, this happened in core of their territory..
Avocas have a vast territory, they are prob in the other side of the river, in Kruger Park, but can you tell me why this 2 males could be a trouble for avocas?
I just hope that the last Tsalala male stays alive. He's had a very hard life and he's lucky to have made it. I'd be devastated if he had a tragic death like all of his blood brothers. I get the feeling he really never recovered from that loss both mentally and physically, but seems to be a good coalition partner to his new bros. Plus, some breakaway prides don't seem to thrive quite the same way the main ones do, and he was raised by a single lioness, Tailess, along with his siblings. Yet she did a phenomenal job as a wise, mature lioness only could.... His sister, the last Tsalala female, is alone and raising her daughter well, so far.

Because they are 3, possibly 4 if Talamati is still alive.. And they are in their prime of 7 yrs old just like Avocas, not some young nomadic males, and Hildas Rock male is the biggest lion in this area and this male Dreadlocks is the most dominant and strongest of the 4,and he is the youngest, only 6 yrs old..
I know you are a fan of Avocas, but if DeLaporte males decide to invade S. Avocas territory they have the upper hand because of the numbers, im not saying that S. Avocas are weak, they certaintly are not..but this is numbers game..
if it was 5 young nomadic males then yes this could be a big trouble for them but more trouble to sparta cub. So this could be a 3 vs 2 and i still see no big drama for avocas. If this is the biggest or bigger, idk they need to be close to each other to confirm that... being fan or not is not relevant to this discussion.

Both of these males are much bigger then Three Tooth, who i think is average size lion, so from there im saying that they are big, especially Hildas Rock, Dreadlocks might be the same size as S. Avocas..
Im just saying that those are experience and big lions, and if they want S. Avocas territory and prides, they are in better position because of numbers, so yea, they are problem for S. Avocas if that happens..
my size perspective was about this males and avocas, i def cant tell who is bigger between them, i know s.avocas are like tanks and they are experienced males too, done a long journey from timbavati, facing many coalitions... so one, two or three males on the run are not a big deal for them i believe.

S avocas are nowhere close to hildas rock male in size. They would struggle against the 3 delaporte males let alone the talamati male joining them, the delaportes have all come from tough situations and they are all true survivors.
One think I would like to point out here is that I feel like coalitions made of unrelated males in general are weaker in terms of teamplay in compare to coalitions made of related males. I feel like unrelated males just to spent less time togeter as well as they are not as much willing to follow coalition partner into battle. I am talking in general so pls don't point me out Thanda Impi coalition as such happens as well, but De Laporte might be like for example Solo and Cleo which had no teamplay what so ever. What I am going to is that I wouldn't be suprised at all if Avocas go and catch one of De Laporte by himself, even through De Laporte as supperior numerically coalition has bigger firepower than Avocas as coalition.

Well it might be the case in some examples, if the bond is not as strong or they are new coalition.. But look at Mpondos, they are mostly not related, and they are elite coalition, they are together since young nomadic days, so they prob feel like real brothers now..
But yea, DeLaporte males gruop together at the age of 6/7 and are not that long together still, so your claim might be true, but we dont know..
both coalitons are around same age, for me in this battle, if it happend favorites are S Avocas, lions clash big role plays confidence(Testosterone) and members number ( not weight size) , i think avocas are clever, confidence and strong coalition of duo. also two things- experience and whose are the territory. Avocas are more experinced (against Matimbas, Bboys, Tsalalas, Majis, Matshapiris) and clash (if it happend) will be for avocas territory. S avocas 65%- 35% DeLaporte.

More experience based off what? Having few scraps with those coalitions in nomadic days? As a duo they still didnt fight any coalition since they came in this area in 2017/18..
Hildas Rock male became an orphan at the only 2 yrs of age and survived to this day, surrounded by Mantimahles, Mpondos, Charlestons etc.. And we dont know his "fighting" history, neither for Dreadlocks, so your point is based of nothing..
As for Tsalala, he pretty much went thru the same as Avocas..
