There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

His limp isnt looking too bad here.

Nice find. He looks better but needs a few good meals. I fear he doesn't have TB or an internal infection of some kind, he is surviving but isn't gaining condition. Last picture of him, he had that haunted look that lions get when they are nearly dying and desperate for that last meal. Probably their pupils become dialed from the stress of old age, he no longer has that look in his eyes which is good.

Here's another video of him:

He walks waay better, but hes very thin and has some scars on the back prob from hyenas, he needs few meals to gain weight back, he wasnt been seen that much with other 3 so thats prob the reason he didnt eat good, because i doubt he can hunt on his own yet. He just needs to stick with his partners and i think he will be ok.

Someone in the comments on Facebook pointed out that he's almost putting all his weight on the injured leg, I definitely noticed that too in the 2nd video. Good on him.

Lisa Antell: " The last Tsalala young male was nervously feeding on an old rotting buffalo carcass that had also been fed on recently by the young Nkuhuma male lion and his injured father/uncle, Nsuku, on Londolozi. Tsalala had been nomadic for 7 months by himself after his two brothers were killed in a freak electrocution while trying to feed on a giraffe carcass. Early Aug 2019 "
