So 4 unrelated males where seen together at DeLaporte Dam near Skukuza in September/October,those 4 males where famous Hilda's Rock male, the last of Tsalala males Three Tooth, one of the Talamati males Matimbas sons and 4th unknown male named Dreadlocks who was seen in 2018 with Talamati male in Jock area, its pressumed that he might be the 5th missing young Jock male. And thats how this unlikely but powerful coalition has formed, those males are in theirs prime years so its yet to be seen what their move will be.

Even second in size of the 4,Dreadlocks, is no match in size of Hilda's Rock male, who i think is one of the biggest lions around:

They are hanging around Skukuza, its unknown if they control some prides, but are seen with few lionesses regularly.

Dreadlocks mating with 1 lone, unknown lioness in Lion Sands,1 week ago :

He needs to be careful wandering like that alone, as this is area of the 4 N'ws males and 2 S. Avoca are not that far either.

But he returned to his partners, 2 days ago he was seen with Three Tooth patroling:

Another recent sightings of the 3 boys on a patrol, Talamati male recently was not seen with them on this sightings:

Three Tooth is very affectioned towards Hilda's Rock male, like a real brothers, happy for him for finding such a powerful partners, but good luck beating these two beasts for mating rights hehe.

",its unknown if they control some prides, but are seen with few lionesses regularly."

They are often see with single lionesses. It is quite likely that is is just one, same lionesses all along.

Yea as i said, on this picture his hip doesn't look good, it looks like he has no muscles, something like Nsuku had. But on a video month ago when he patroled with Dreadlocks he was limping but not that bad, so im curious how is it now.

I saw a video of him running away with an impala carcass in his mouth (when they caught the impala stuck in the pan). He seemed to cope with the limp. I don't think Nsuku could ever manage to do that when he was injured, so I think he has been carrying the injury for some time and has managed to cope with it. He seems to be a resourceful lion and may manage to pull through. Lucky for him he is part of a large coalition so that improves his chances.
