There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Quote:Gustave, the legendary man-eater from Lake Tanganyika in Burundi, was actually a 6 meter long giant, according to an estimate made by one of the greatest crocodilian experts in the world, biologist Marc Gansuana, who was the only person and specialist in the world to see it. live both Gustave and Lolong who were similar sizes "Crocodile expert Marc Gansuana is perhaps the only person in the world to have witnessed both Lolong and Gustave, so I specifically asked him how he thought Gustave compared to Lolong. He said that through many of their estimates, Gustav was about 6 meters, very close to Lolong"

Quote:The largest Nile crocodile skull scientifically measured was 69.2 cm DCL, which by reason would have come from a specimen between 5.7 and 5.8 meters in length, despite the scientific article mentioning this record, there was no photographic record of it, more recently I saw it on a forum about crocodilians, one mentions to this skull with a photo below of a huge Arba Minch skull where this skull is I suppose it is this photo of this giant skull?

Giant Gharial skull is the largest I have seen to date, it belonged to a huge gharial measuring more than 5 m to 6 m long, it was collected dead from a fishermen's net and its immense skull was preserved at the Deori Gharial Rearing Center Museum and conservation organization in Madhya Pradesh, India.
