There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

This one is 1/3 the Southern/Talamati young males. He looked a little stressful and has biting marks on his back.

They are not separated, are they?

Yes, this boy in the video is alone, he has several days like this. He also has some wounds on his back, hopefully he will find his other 2 partners soon.

Thats 1 of the 2 Talamatis, hopefully nothing happened to his brother and partner.

I think apart of Big Boy Charleston towards the Phabeni Gate and 4 N'ws closer to Skukuza, theres no other males around that area alongside S1, west of Skukuza.

So in theory those guys are pretty safe from other big males in that area as far as I know.

#2 Their roaring kept many of us awake last night, unconsciously mapping in our heads the direction of their calls. Eventually, just before dawn, we went searching. We found a beautiful pride of lions, all shapes and sizes resting full bellied on the road as the sun crept over the horizon. Images @sabrewildlife .

The stare of a lion...
It's an exhilarating yet intimidating feeling when a big male lion gazes right into your eyes no matter how many times you have been on a Safari.
